I am a third generation native Angeleno deeply commited to recording the people and places that make up the sum of parts that is the Los Angeles metropolis. I learned to photograph using film, developing and printing my black and white photographs. My images have appeared in galleries and juried exhibition across the United States. My work has also appeared in corporate annual reports and on line magazines. I am the Resource Editor for the blog, Lenscratch and also a course assistant at LACP.
I have been an active still photographer for decades, but only recently involved with street photography. It is an exceptional challenge with fleeting success. Yet, the thrill of one successful image is worth the struggle. The current political mood of our country only heightens my desire to be out in the streets of Los Angeles. I want to record what I see before it goes away and experience all I can about my home town.
